I found it

I don’t see the rain
as a painful thing
not as a blanket covering
i see it as an offering
I see it as an offering
I see the life within
the good it brings
water is our everything
god make it pour
you’ve done it once before

found a place
between the sky
you could say
I’m on cloud nine

take a leap of faith
just try

I don’t see delay
as something frustrating
don’t find the need
to press things
forward, see
I welcome extra
time
better to get my mind
just right
